Ford will mark the completion of the production of the “charged” Focus RS of the current generation for the European market by the release of the special version of the Heritage Edition. Fifty last cars that will come off the assembly line in Zarluwi, Germany, will receive the orange color of the Deep Orange body and an extended set of standard equipment.
The cars of the “farewell” series will be distinguished by gray brake calipers, and black-painted wheel disks, mirror housings and a rear spoiler. The list of interior equipment will include Recaro seats, partially finished leather, panoramic roof, heated steering wheel and decorative elements made of carbon fiber.
Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition will be equipped with a limited-slip differential with mechanical locking in the front axle and a power-boosting package. With it, the output of the 2.3-liter turbo engine of the EcoBoost family will increase from 350 to 375 horsepower (510 Nm of torque).
The price of the Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition will be 39,895 pounds.
In the spring of 2017, Ford released a “farewell” version of the hot hatch for the North American market. The circulation of the special version was 1500 copies, and its development was conducted on the basis of requests and recommendations of the fans.
