Ford is testing a prototype of the new crossover

Perhaps, under this dense camouflage is an updated Ford EcoSport crossover? Or a brand new crossover based on popular Focus models or even the Fiesta?

American car brand Ford plans to present in the next couple of years a large number of SUVs and crossovers. It is known that among these models there will be a pair of completely new cars, including the revived Bronco – it is known that this will be a whole crossover family. Well, of course, updated versions of existing models will also be shown.

A couple of minutes ago, a mysterious prototype of an unidentified Ford crossover was captured on German public roads.

As you can see from the published photos, the car is quite camouflaged – there is both a film and special camouflage panels.

Obviously, this is either a compact crossover or a raised hatchback that is larger than the current EcoSport, but smaller than the current Escape / Kuga. Its size is about the same as that of the new (fourth in a row) generation of the Focus hatchback, but it received a high ground clearance and large forms. What is it? At the very early stage of development, no one knows, but there are already several possible options.

According to some reports, this may be the very first look at the next generation EcoSport crossover. Rumor has it that the new version of it will become larger and more convenient in the entire history of the model. Well, or we face a new crossover from Ford, built on the basis of the Fiesta, which will be located in the model range below the next-generation EcoSport. If so, then the competition for this car will be Kia Stonic, SEAT Arona and VW T-Cross.
