The company Ferarri introduced a unique supercar SP38, released in a single copy on special order. The public debut of the novelty will take place at the Villa d’Este elegance competition in Italy, after which the car will be handed over to the owner whose name is not reported.
Supercar was developed by specialists of the Special Projects division, specializing in creating exclusive cars for special customers. The construction of each such car requires at least one and a half years.
The coupe was based on the 488 GTB chassis. In this externally, the two-door turned out to be completely different from its platform “donor” – the designers used elements that give references to classic supercars, including 308 GTB and F40.
Technical specifications of the Ferrari SP38 are kept secret. The standard supercar 488 GTB is equipped with a 3.9-liter V8 engine with two turbines, developing 670 hp and 760 Nm of torque. The motor works in tandem with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Coupe is able to accelerate to the first 100 km/h in three seconds, and acceleration from the place to 200 km / h takes 8.3 seconds. The maximum speed of a supercar is 330 km per hour.
