According to preliminary data, the motor line of the Chinese version of Kadjar has not changed: in the Celestial crossover is offered with petrol four-cylinder turbo engine 1.2 and atmospheric 2.0 with a yield of 117 and 150 hp respectively. The first motor works in pair with a five-speed manual transmission, the second is combined with a variator. Kadjar with a turbo engine is only available with a front-wheel drive, a cross with a two-liter engine has a 4×4 version.
In Europe, pre-reform Kadjar is offered with petrol turbo four 1.2 TCe (130 hp) and 1.6 TCe (165 hp), as well as with diesels 1.5 dCi (110 hp) and 1.6 dCi (130 hp). from.). All engines are combined with MCP, for engines 1.2 and 1.5 there is still a semi-auto, and a 130-horsepower diesel engine is fitted with the X-Tronic variator. Drive is also front or full. According to unofficial information, in the range of the European restyling Kadjar there may appear a turbomotor 1.3, developed by Renault together with the Daimler concern (this engine, for example, is equipped with a new Mercedes A-Class).
The premiere of the updated Kadjar is likely to take place this year. Recall, the crossover entered the market in 2015. For Europe, the SUV is produced in the Spanish factory Renault, in China they are selling a model of local assembly – its release is set up at the Renault and Dongfeng joint venture.
