The entire model range of electric bikes of Energica 2019 will be enriched with a whole list of technical transformations: “traction control” with six modes, combining the already functioning eABS system and the innovative Bosch ABS, so that the piloting process becomes even more absorbing, but not inferior in safety; “Cruise control” conceptually represents the possibility of electronic braking to maintain speed and increase braking energy; an updated “gas knob” capable of fixing the rotation of the handle for a hundredth of a degree. With its help, the clarity and linearity of torque control will be enhanced.
Still all the bikes will be equipped with heated steering knobs, operating in the three modes provided.
Bonus, in January, users will be offered to upgrade software, which will ensure the improvement of the charging system. Thus, after software transformation, in fast recharging mode, motorcycles will be charged 15% faster. At this stage, the time to recharge the battery to 85% is about 25 minutes. From an ordinary outlet, bikes can be charged up to 100% in 3.5 hours, and the absolute battery charge in Eco mode allows you to drive 200 km on the way.
Among other things, all samples of bikes will contain “fast charging”, a full-color 4.3-inch display, four cards for a motor with four modes of travel: “City”, “Eco”, “Rain”, “Sport” and four more modes of regeneration braking + “parking assistant”. The USB socket will be in Eva, Eva 107 and Eva EsseEsse9 models. Also will be offered to buyers of Ego motorcycles on request.
For all vehicles the manufacturer gives a warranty of 2 years, without taking into account the mileage. This means that with warranty service, it does not matter how much your bike hit. However, the battery warranty is 50,000 km or 3 years.
Remarkable is the significant growth of Energica, which has arisen due to the active participation of the company in the MotoE project, and of course, due to the emergence of another type of motorcycle technology “Eva EsseEsse9”.
At the Intermot festival, along with the philistine variants of Energica electric jets, the Energica Ego Corsa racing motorcycle demo debuted, tested during the MotoGP schedule for 365 days.
Ego Corsa is a model that will participate in the upcoming MotoE championship.
Motorcycle takes acceleration to 100 km. in less than 2.8 seconds, its top speed is 270 km / h thanks to a permanent-magnet synchronous motor with oil cooling, giving an uninterrupted power of 120 kW and a torque of 200 Nm. In the model there is no gearbox and clutch.
