Electric car Fisker Emotion appeared in public.

Henrik Fisker, who is the founder of the US automotive company Fisker Inc., engaged in the development and subsequent serial production of electric vehicles, in a recent interview with foreign automotive publications, during which he personally showed and talked about his electric car Fisker EMotion, expressed his impatience with the test solid-state batteries, over which the engineers of the company have been working hard for a long time. The businessman plans to launch the serial production of the EMotion model with solid-state storage batteries in 2020.

The American company claims that its solid state semiconductor batteries demonstrate a high longevity during charge / discharge cycles: “Last week, we spent several cycles on a 5C cycle (12-minute charge and discharge), after which our solid-state batteries recovered to 100% capacity. We are very interested in continuing the tests – we feel that success is close. ”

The fact that the long-awaited American electric vehicle appeared in public, in fact, confirms one of the questions that were asked Henrik Fisker in the context of his recent exclusive interview. He was asked – “Will the prototype receive a system of autonomous control?”. To which he replied that yes, an electric car will get an “autopilot”.

In addition, Mr. Fisker answered the question: “How fast is the development of the production version of EMotion?” We still have at least 20 months to fully test all of our electric vehicle systems, and in particular to test the operation of solid-state batteries.

Finally, we note that the Fisker EMotion can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds, the maximum speed is 260 km / h.
