PSA Group has published the first image and information about commercial vehicles Peugeot Partner, Citroen Berlingo and Opel Combo a new generation. Each model will be available in five- and seven-seater versions, and receive modern power plants and electronic assistants.
Cars will be built on a modular platform EMP2, adapted for use on commercial vehicles. According to preliminary data, the line of power plants of cars will include a gasoline turbo engine 1.2 and a 1.5-liter diesel.
Production of minivan will be arranged at the plant in Italian Vito and Portuguese Mangualdi. For this, the fourth and third shifts will be introduced at the production sites, respectively.
The Opel / Vauxhall brand became part of the PSA group in August 2017. The French automaker paid 2.2 billion euros for General Motors brands. According to the development plan prepared by PSA, future models of Opel / Vauxhall will be transferred to the EMP2 platform, and the brand itself will reach 20 new markets by 2020.
