Chinese company GAC presented at the motor show in Detroit conceptual crossover, which was named Enverge. One of the features of the prototype was the lack of side windows on butterfly doors.
The GAC noted that the all-wheel drive prototype is equipped with a fully electric power plant, which is powered by batteries with a capacity of 71 kilowatt-hours. The power of the unit is 238 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque.
According to the idea of the creators, Enverge accelerates from place to hundred kilometers per hour in 4.4 seconds, and its maximum speed is about 160 kilometers per hour.
The claimed range of the GAC Enverge is 592 kilometers. In The Verge note that the prototype received a system of wireless charging of batteries. For 10 minutes the power reserve can be increased by 380 kilometers.
Additional details about the Enverge in the GAC did not. The company noted only that the prototype received virtual reality systems, but how they work and what they need are not specified.
In 2016, GAC introduced the prototype of the electric supercar Enlight. That prototype was completed with four electric motors – one in each of the wheels. The concept car was presented at the Auto Show in Chinese Guangzhou.
