Charged BMW X2 seen at the Nurburgring

A new version of the BMW X2 from the M-Perfomance unit will be presented soon, and possibly will receive the unit by 300 hp. The X2 M35i was spotted by spies during testing at the Nürburgring Ring.

As noted by foreign experts – soon we should expect the appearance of a whole line of new crossovers BMW X2, focused on power. Earlier we already saw pictures of the charged version of the M35i, tested in a new body kit with large wheels and a revised front bumper. But now the foreign portal motor1 published a video showing the pre-series version of the crossover in minimal camouflage.

A three-minute video shows the BMW X2 M35i being tested on the famous Nürburgring ring. Despite the fact that the car is constantly on the move, you can still consider some differences from the standard version. So, the prototype has new wheels, as well as some updates to the grille.

The company has not yet reported the technical characteristics of the crossover. Under the hood, experts suggest a two-liter turbo with a maximum output of more than 300 horsepower. The engine will be an updated version of the current four-cylinder B48 with the code mark B48A20T1. It is expected that the all-wheel drive will be installed from the base version.

The salon will also receive several additions. The doors and the front panel will receive decorative pads stylized for carbon, and a new steering wheel M-Perfomance will be installed. The seats will receive higher lateral support, trim Alcantara and orange stitch.

It’s not clear when the company intends to introduce the novelty, but it will not be long to wait. At the moment, BMW offers the X2 with the M Sport package, which features options such as a set of 20-inch wheels, a lower suspension and some extra details in the interior.

Meanwhile, BMW is preparing to present an updated version of the 7-Series, which will come to replace the version of the model in the body of the G11 / G12, and the network has the first realistic renderers.
