Charged Audi RS Q3 2020 model year will receive at least 400 hpJanuary 7, 2019
It is assumed that the company will equip its crossover in the “powerful” version of the five-cylinder in-line turbo engine. Now the car is being tested in winter conditions in Sweden.
Photospies again captured a novelty from Ingolstadt in the “charged” version of the Audi RS Q3 2020. As fans of the company wished, a special division of Audi Sport seriously took up the crossovers. Now the crossover was found in Sweden, but apart from some details hidden by camouflage – there was nothing interesting.
Judging by the photos, the car will get a revised front bumper with massive air intakes. The shape of the door sills will also change, the arch extensions will be added, and the rear bumper will also change. Another distinctive feature of the RS will be a split exhaust system with oval tips. The main competitor for the model will be the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45.
Under the hood, a five-cylinder 2.5-liter turbo engine is expected, which will develop from 400 to 420 horsepower (rumors differ in numbers). In combination with it, they will offer only an automatic robotic transmission, as well as a proprietary all-wheel drive system.
While the date of the presentation is not reported, but we expect that in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show, the company will present the Audi SQ3 or RS Q3.
Meanwhile, the Audi S8 model 2020 model year looks ready for entry into the market. According to insiders, the long-awaited German novelty will have a 4.0-liter V8 engine with double turbocharging under the hood.
