An official presentation of the updated Cadillac XT6 crossover will take place very soon. The press service of the brand has published a teaser, which shows the front of the crossover.

Apparently, when creating an updated version of their 7-seater Cadillac XT6 crossover, the guys from Cadillac were inspired by the design of the Escala concept presented earlier. Already this weekend will be presented a novelty, which will be positioned as a crossover 2020 model year. A few minutes ago, the first teaser image of the 3-row crossover was published.

It is known that the new product from Cadillac will compete with the recently presented prestigious Lincoln Aviator crossover.

Cadillac XT6 is equipped with a grille in the style of the previously presented concept Escala, which is surrounded by thin LED headlights. Below are large air intakes and vertical LED daytime running lights.

While the published teaser image of the American crossover does not allow us to examine it in detail, previous “spy” photos show that the crossover will have a heavily inclined windshield and a slightly sloping roof. The model must also have vertical taillights and a dual exhaust system.

The interior will be similar to the interior of the XT5 junior crossover, but the XT6 will receive a revised dashboard. The novelty will also have a new infotainment system with a control washer, which is similar to that in the XT4. Of course, the biggest feature of the crossover is the third row of seats, which will allow the XT6 to accommodate up to seven people.

It is expected that the new XT6 will be built on the platform C1XX. Under the hood will be a 3.6-liter V6, which is designed for 310 hp. The engine is connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission, which can be connected to an additional all-wheel drive system.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the company Cadillac will introduce a competitor to Tesla electric vehicles.
