The Italian division of BWM intends to bring a new X2 crossover to the local market next month, and as so often happens, the Bavarians have prepared a pleasant surprise for local fans – cars in the special version of the Rebel Edition, which boast an interesting exterior.
This special version is based on the modification xDrive25d in the package M Sport X, which means that under its hood is a two-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder with direct injection of fuel and a yield of 231 horsepower. The torque of the motor reaches 450 Nm at 1,500-3,000 rpm, it works in tandem with an eight-speed automatic. The motor accelerates the crossover to 100 kilometers per hour in less than seven seconds, while in the mixed cycle, according to the passport data, X2 spends 4.7 liters per 100 km.
But the most interesting thing in the new BMW X2 Rebel Edition is the body, which received the corporate color of Galvanic Gold and the livery painted by the famous tattoo artist Pietro Seddon. The uniqueness of livery is that it manifests itself at a temperature below 15 degrees Celsius, and each car will receive a unique picture on its body. If the temperature is higher than this mark, then the so-called “tattoo” on the machine becomes invisible.
The car interior is trimmed with the Hexagon M Sport X fabric brand with inserts from Alcantara, there are also Business Plus, Connectivity, Comfort and Audio packages. In general, everything a person needs for the presence of a sense of comfort.
In total, five such cars will be sold, and they can be ordered from February 8 to February 12 only on the official BMW website. Each such car is estimated at 60 000 euros.
