Special versions of the crossover and hatchback debuted at the European exhibition of the RETTmobil exhibition, dedicated to cars for emergency services
The company BMW introduced a special version of the crossover X3, intended for use by firefighters, and a police modification of the hatchback MINI. New products debuted in the European exhibition RETTmobil, dedicated to cars for emergency services.
Fireman BMW X3 is positioned as a staff car. It was equipped with flashing beacons, sirens, systems for receiving signals from the GPS and TETRA standards, as well as 12-volt sockets in the luggage compartment. The crossover is equipped with a two-liter supercharged diesel engine, developing 190 horsepower.
As for the hatchback MINI, it received a special livery made in the coloring style for the German police. On the car also used flashing beacons installed on the roof and in the hatch.
The MINI policeman is built on the basis of the “charged” modification of John Cooper Works. This car is equipped with a two-liter petrol turbo, developing 231 hp and 320 No torque. Coupled with an automatic transmission, the engine allows the hot-hatch to accelerate from place to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds.
