The Bavarian company will release a special version of the 5 Series on the Japanese market based on the new part of the spy thriller. Japanese customers will be available as a standard, and the charged version of the sedan M5.
At the end of this month, the next part of the espionage saga with Tom Cruise in the main role goes to the screens and the Bavarian manufacturer decided in honor of this event to release on this occasion in Japan a special “five” – BMW 5 Series Edition Mission: Impossible.
Sedan BMW 5 Series in Mission: Impossible differs from the standard model in the black body color of Sapphire and its matching radiator grille finish, and is also equipped with a set of black wheels with a design of double spokes.
The interior of the car has a black glossy finish from the BMW Individual catalog, and a branded nameplate is attached to the thresholds. And, owners can enjoy high-quality sound Harman Kardon audio system with 16 speakers. On the model 530i, the list of equipment is supplemented by dynamic shock absorbers and the High Line package, which includes seat heating and Dakota leather upholstery.
Model BMW M5 Mission: Impossible Edition is painted in a gray shade of Singapore with a black finish of the radiator grille and side mirror casings. The sedan is equipped with an exhaust system M Sports and a set of wheels with Y-shaped spokes. The salon has a black glossy finish and branded signs on the rapids.
Package Mission: Impossible Edition is available for models M5 and 523i, 523d, and 530i in both body types – sedan and wagon Touring.
Note that the BMW is doing well with the 5 Series sedan, if in 1981 in Europe, 81 599 cars were sold, then last year it was 109 953 units, and in the five months of 2018 – 47 470 units. For comparison, in the US market these figures were 32,408, 40,658 and 16,857 units, respectively.
