BMW has published another teaser for the updated hatchback 1 SeriesMay 16, 2019
BMW is launching its advertising campaign, which is dedicated to the next generation compact hatchback 1 Series. A couple of minutes ago, the press service of the brand published another teaser of their long-awaited news.
Only one conclusion – the official presentation of the novelty is already “just around the corner.” Thanks to the new images published by the press service of the brand in the social network Facebook, we can look at the serial version of the updated model. That’s the way it is, but the car on the teaser is still covered with a layer of camouflage. Despite this, it is easy to see that we are not dealing with a more powerful modification of the M135i, since the imprinted car does not have aggressive bumpers and a special false radiator grille with a pattern similar to the one used in the Z4 roadster grille.
The headlights and taillights are fully open and represent a significant departure from the previous (and rather outdated) 1st series, giving the typewriter the high-tech look you expect from a brand new car.
The car looks noticeably larger than its predecessor and is probably equipped with a longer wheelbase for additional legroom in the cabin. One of the images also allows us to look at the interior of the novelty. Just like the next-generation Volkswagen Golf, the entry-level BMW car will give up analog dials to make room for the display, but it remains to be seen whether the digital setting will be standard for all versions of the model or not.
BMW covered the cloth cover of the dashboard to hide the rest of the design. In a separate teaser, we will see a more powerful modification of the M135i. As you know, the new generation of the compact hatchback will not have a full-fledged high-performance performance from the BMW M.
