The Bentley brand will surprise car enthusiasts and collectors with the output of the limited special version of Mulsanne sedans. Their distinctive feature will be the availability of parts from the Bentley 8 Litre 1930 car. So the British automaker intends to recall its anniversary. Mark is a hundred years old, so a similar number of unique cars will be produced.
For the release of the model Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner took the tuning studio Mulliner. Masters will take as a basis for the special version of one of the three modifications of the car at the option of future owners.
In the basic configuration, the car is made in black body color. He will have black rims, a chrome strip on the hood and a special design of the company mascot on the grille. If desired, customers will be able to choose other color solutions.
In the interior there are wood and leather, and no plastic. And for passengers behind the mini-bar is provided, which is decorated with a wooden mosaic made of aluminum and four types of wood, depicting the radiator grille and the Bentley 8 Litre headlamp. In the compartment for the glasses, which is located between the seats of the second row, is placed a piece of the crankshaft from the rare “Bentley” of 1930.
The wardrobe is made of four kinds of wood, aluminum and polished metal. Also collectors will like a copy of the signature of the founder of the brand Walter Owen Bentley
Note that the Bentley 8 Litre was the last sedan designed by Walter Owen Bentley. He created a model of the Gran Turismo class, which was equipped with an 8-liter 6-cylinder engine. Mr. Bentley himself traveled on this model, but after a year of operation decided to change the car. And only twelve years ago the company Bentley bought a unique specimen and decided to do its restoration.
Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner will be available for sale in the year of the 100th anniversary of the brand, that is, in 2019. The cost of the collector’s edition is not specified yet.
