The German company will present at the Paris Motor Show the Audi R8 supercar, made in the style of cars participating in endurance races
The company Audi Sport has published a teaser, which shows the front of the body of an unknown supercar. It is assumed that the Germans will bring to the Paris Motor Show a new version of the model R8.
No official information on the supercar yet. The picture shows that the novelty will receive an aerodynamic body with air intakes in the front in the style of cars participating in endurance races.
Earlier it became known that Audi started road tests of the updated supercar R8 Spyder, which will change the form of optics. In addition, after restyling, the roadster after restyling will acquire other bumpers, exhaust pipes, and an upgraded rear diffuser.
Will the engine of Audi R8 Spyder be changed, it is not known yet. The current supercar in top performance Plus is equipped with a 5.2-liter atmospheric V10 engine, developing 610 hp and 560 Nm of torque. The current Audi R8 Spyder Plus can accelerate from its place to the first 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and its maximum speed is 328 km per hour.
In this case, this motor has a greater potential. So, for example, on the coupler compartment Lamborghini Huracan Performante, which retained the title of the fastest production car of the “North Loop” Nürburgring, the 5.2-liter V10 produces 630 forces and 600 Nm.
