Audi showed the first images of the new electric crossover
February 14, 2019Audi showed working sketches of the new compact electric coupe Q4 e-tron. The concept premiere will be held at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be held from March 7 to 17 this year, and the debut of the production version is scheduled for the end of 2020 – the beginning of 2021.
The exterior of the crossover corresponds to the current corporate style of the brand. For example, the front end is a lot like the flagship Q8. The electric car has a similar octagonal false radiator grille, framed by massive air intakes, and narrow LED headlights with a variety of cell segments. The e-tron inscription at the bottom of the bumper is a distinctive feature of Audi’s electrical concepts: the PB18 e-tron and e-tron GT have the same features.
Information about the power plant manufacturer does not disclose. It is possible for the Q4 e-tron to adapt the drive from the serial e-tron, consisting of two electric motors with a total power of 360 horsepower and 561 Nm of torque. The power reserve per charge of the new crossover should be at least 400 kilometers along the WLTP cycle.
