Audi introduced the new “charged” coupe and roadster TT RS 2019February 6, 2019
Finally, we can examine in detail the sports versions of the new coupe and Audi TT RS Roadster 2019 model year. Under the hood is a five-cylinder 400-horsepower turbo engine.
Back in July 2018, Audi introduced a restyled version of the TT compact coupe, and the RS versions in the coupe and roadster are now ready. From the standard version of the “PC-ku” is very difficult to distinguish. The design has not changed, despite the fact that the guys from Ingolstadt assure of the complete processing of the front end. But the most notable innovation was wider air intakes.
Behind the new mesh grille, an additional motor cooling radiator is installed. There is also a full-size rear spoiler, as well as a thin connecting line between the rear optics. In the standard configuration, the model is equipped with LED head optics, but more advanced matrix headlights and LED rear optics are available as an option.
At the heart of the TT RS Coupe and Roadster is still a five-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that develops 400 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque. This will allow the car to accelerate to “hundreds” in 3.7 seconds, and the maximum speed will be limited to 250 km / h (optionally, you can move the lock to 280 km / h).
Acceptance of orders in Europe will begin on February 7 (tomorrow). In the home market, the TT RS Coupe will cost from 67,700 euros, and the roadster will cost from 70,500 euros.
