Audi has begun road tests of the charged version of its future flagship crossover Q8, which will receive the prefix RS in the title. Spy pictures of the test prototype of the novelty were published by the publication Motor1.
From the old prototypes, the RS modification can be distinguished by a significantly enlarged radiator grille and air intakes, twin exhaust pipes, as well as six-piston brakes in front and sports tires.
Audi Q8 RS will divide the main units and units with the Lamborghini Urus crossover, introduced in December 2017. Thus, the German car will receive a four-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which on the Urus develops 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Lamborghini Urus is capable of accelerating from place to 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds, and its maximum speed is 305 km per hour.
It is assumed that the standard crossover Audi Q8 will debut in the near future, and its charged modification will be presented in the spring of 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show.
