Leading foreign automobile publications report on Audi’s plans to expand the line of crossovers with several new models.
As reported by the British edition of Autocar, Audi Q8, presented just yesterday, this is not the only model that Audi strengthened its position in this segment. In addition, the brand is going to bring a few more crossovers to the market.
Audi Q2 – it is currently the most compact crossover brand, but in 2021 the Germans are allegedly going to introduce the model Q1. In fact, it will be adapted to light off-road conditions hatchback A1 Sportback. It will be built on the proprietary platform of the Volkswagen Group MQB, which means that no surprises under the hood of the car can hardly be expected.
Next year, Audi will introduce the Q4 crossover, which will be located one step above the Q3 model. The design of this car will, as expected, be borrowed from the flagship crossover Q8.
Also, our colleagues report that on the step above Q5 will be located crossover Q6.
Presented yesterday, the crossover Q8 Audi is not limited, and already in the near future Audi will introduce a new flagship crossover Q9, which, incidentally, still will not compete with Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus – other flagship crossovers of the hatch brands Volkswagen Group. Rumors say that the Germans are already secretly working on this car.
To treat the information of our colleagues is with caution, because it is unlikely that Audi will overload the line of crossovers cars, which will differ from each other with only slightly larger dimensions.
Earlier we reported that Audi Q8 is officially presented.
