Audi has conducted the final tests of its first electric crossover called E-Tron. Spy photos were published by the publication Motor1. The premiere of the car will take place on August 30. In the model line of the brand, the machine will take place between Q5 and Q7. The main competitor of the car will be Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla Model X. The price for the car will be about 66 thousand euros.
The novelty design repeats the conceptual e-tron quattro, which was presented in autumn 2015 in Frankfurt. The length of the car is 4.88 meters in length, and the width is 1.93 meters. The size of the luggage compartment is 615 liters.
The power reserve of the novelty will exceed 500 kilometers. Replenish the battery reserve can be using a quick recharging system.
The production of the model will be adjusted at the plant in Brussels, where not only the assembly of the machine will be organized, but also the production of all electrical components.
The crossover concept was equipped with three electric motors (two on the rear axle and one on the front) with a total return of 435 horsepower, which can be increased to 503 horsepower. With such a power plant, the electric car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 210 km per hour.
