Engineers of the famous American tuning studio Hennessey Performance equipped the mid-size pickup with a 1000 hp Hellcat V8 engine with a displacement of 6.2 liters. The car received the designation Jeep Gladiator Maximus 1000. The price will be 200 000 dollars
As a basis for their project, the guys from the company Hennessey Performance chose the mid-size pickup Jeep Gladiator. The standard version of this car is equipped with an 3.6 liter V6 engine, the maximum power of which is 289 hp. A six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission was proposed. It is reported that by 2020, the V6 3.0 liter 264 hp turbo diesel will also be offered, which will be combined only with the automatic transmission.
So, after all the work on the pickup was completed, the last one was called Maximus 1000. Now under its hood there is a powerful V8 with a capacity of 6.2 liters, which is capable of developing a maximum power of 1000 hp
Engineers from the Texas Tuner installed their original HPE1000 performance enhancement package on the Jeep Gladiator, as well as a completely different engine control unit and a modified fuel system. The increase in power was also possible due to the installation of a more efficient exhaust system, which is made of stainless steel.
But the increase in power for a mid-size pickup, the work of engineers Hennessey Performance is not over. Maximus 1000 boasts a suspension with modified settings, 20″ wheels, and off-road tires BF Goodrich KD. There were a few other bumpers that have received additional LED optics.
According to official data, a heavily upgraded version of the American pickup will be produced in 24 units. The price of each of them will be 200 000 dollars
