German studio Fostla presented a package of modifications for the sports car Mercedes-AMG GT S. It included a new aerodynamic body kit with components of carbon fiber, and a kit for increasing the power of the sink bi-turbo V8 from 510 to 613 horsepower. The whole set will cost the buyer 28 thousand euros
After updating the firmware of the electronic control unit, installing a high-performance intake and exhaust system, the engine’s output increased by 103 horsepower, and the torque increased from 650 to 768 Nm.
How the dynamic characteristics of the coupe changed is not reported. The usual Mercedes-AMG GT S for acceleration to “hundreds” takes 3.8 seconds. The maximum speed of a two-door is 310 kilometers per hour.
In addition to engine improvements, the sports car received a new carbon cloth, which included a front splitter, additional air intakes, a rear diffuser and an adjustable wing, as well as an understated KW suspension.
In October last year, the German tuning studio IMSA built on the basis of the Mercedes-AMG GT S supercar RXR One Super Gran Turismo. The supercar received original carbon fiber body panels, a modernized robotic transmission and a four-liter V8 turbo engine with a power of 860 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque.
