Aston Martin will bring the Lagonda electric crossover to GenevaFebruary 6, 2019
Aston Martin has released the first teaser for the Lagonda All-Terrain electric crossover, which will premiere in early March at the Geneva Motor Show. The car is designed to give an idea of the first production model of the subbrand of the British automaker.
Judging by the teaser, the crossover will receive a matt chrome-plated element in the front, combining headlamps, as well as cameras that replace traditional exterior mirrors. The All-Terrain product version, which will appear in 2021, will be the first production car released under the Lagonda brand. In the future, the British plan to expand the line of luxury electric cars.
At last year’s Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin presented the electric unmanned concept car Lagonda Vision. Luxury limousine driven by electric motors powered by solid-state batteries, which can provide mileage without recharging up to 640 kilometers. It will be possible to fully replenish the stock of batteries in just 15 minutes.
The back of the Lagonda Vision can be raised for a more comfortable fit in the cabin. The front seats can be rotated 180 degrees so that passengers can sit facing each other. The steering column has an electric drive, thanks to which the car can change the configuration for right-hand or left-hand driving patterns.
Lagonda Vision received a fourth-level autopilot. This means that the car is able to move completely independently, however, if desired, the driver at any time can take control.
