American studio Specialty Vehicle Engineering introduced a 1014-strong modification of the Chevrolet Camaro coupe – YENKO / SC Stage II. The novelty, built on the basis of the SS version with a track package 1LE, will be released in an amount of 25 copies.
The novelty is equipped with a V-shaped eight-cylinder, the capacity of which is increased from 6.2 to 6.8 liters. The engine is equipped with a mechanical supercharger, a new crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons and a modernized fuel system with new injectors.
After completion of the unit produces 1014 forces and 1185 Nm of torque. The box is a six-speed manual transmission. The engine of the standard Camaro SS develops 461 horsepower (616 Nm).
The dynamic characteristics of the Camaro after tuning are not specified.
The list of equipment YENKO / SC Stage II Camaro includes adaptive suspension Magnetic Ride Control, a self-locking differential with electronic control, sports suspension, Brembo brakes and an improved cooling system.
In the summer of 2017, the American company Vengeance Racing introduced the fastest version of the sixth-generation Camaro coupe. The machine was built on the basis of the ZL1 version and equipped with a 1047-horsepower V8 engine.
