American studio Legacy Overland has restored and modernized the military SUV Mercedes-Benz G-Class Wolf model 1990. The car was equipped with a set of suspension Raptor 4×4, LED optics and a new interior with sports seats.
Under the hood of the SUV, a five-cylinder diesel engine of 2.5 liters is installed. The output of the unit, combined with a five-speed manual transmission, is 94 horsepower. Drive – full, with interlocking and interaxle differential locking.
The list of G-Class equipment included the finishing of doors, seats and steering wheel, fog lights, LED rear lights, integrated safety frame, 16-inch wheels, shod in Cooper off-road rubber, soft removable roof, audio system with Bluetooth support, steel protection of the engine compartment and military snorkel.
Earlier, Daimler presented a new version of the Mercedes-Benz G-series, designed for the military. “Multipurpose car” is built on the basis of light armored car Mercedes-Benz LAPV 6.1 with the wheel formula 4×4. It is equipped with portal bridges, a reinforced suspension with two shock absorbers per wheel and a 3.0 V6 rated at 185 horsepower, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer gearbox.
