This was reported by company representatives, pinning high hopes on their own Super Cruise system. Apparently, the company strives to take a leading position in this segment.

Despite the way we treat drones and semi-autonomous driving systems, they are increasingly entering the standard equipment of modern cars. Cadillac wants to remain one of the leaders in these technologies and has ambitious plans for his driving assistant Super Cruise. At the moment, this system is installed only on the flagship sedan CT6. But by 2020, all new models of the company will receive this technology.

As part of this, the company is preparing in the near future to present a lot of updates and completely new models. The first of these will be the 2020 XT6 crossover, which will premiere at the Detroit auto show next week. Over the next 24 months, Cadillac will also release the new generation Escalade, the small CT4 sedan, the updated XT5 and the CT5 sedan.

Super Cruise is considered one of the best autonomous technologies currently available. It combines LiDAR, high-precision GPS, multiple cameras, radar and sensors. This allows the car to create a virtual copy of the surrounding world and move independently.
