A more powerful version of the crossover Lamborghini Urus from the studio ABTJune 14, 2019
After all work on the modification of the engine of the Italian crossover, the latter boasts 700 hp. power, torque increased from 850 to 910 Nm.
Finally, the German tuner ABT introduced a high-performance version of the Italian crossover Lamborghini Urus. I must say that initially, the 4.0-liter V8 engine with two turbines under the hood of this car gave out quite small 640 horsepower. Through the efforts of talented engineers, this figure was increased to a whopping 700 hp.
The added power brought more impressive torque – from standard 850 Nm to 910 Nm. This is actually a bit more than the American super SUV Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, the maximum torque of which is 875 Nm.
According to the assurances of the guys from ABT, the power added to the Lamborghini Urus crossover reduced the sprint time from 0 to 100 km / h by two tenths of a second – now it is 3.4 seconds.
So far, nothing has been said about whether the maximum speed of the car was increased thanks to the ABT Engine module. The serial Lamborghini Urus is already a “rocket”, developing a speed of up to 305 km / h. We would also be interested to know how acceleration improved from 0 to 200 km / h – in the standard form, this process takes 12.8 seconds.
If you need a more powerful Urus, but you are not going to use the services of third-party companies, I hasten to inform you that Lamborghini is already making a high-performance version of the model, previously called Urus Performante. About this car so far little is known, except that he will become a competitor to the same “charged” crossovers – the British Bentley Bentayga Speed and the upcoming Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid.
