Premium brand Hyundai Motor Company – Company Genesis Motors – released details on the Genesis G80 2017 model year for the North American market. Rival BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class from the Korean manufacturer will soon be available, and will be offered with two engines.
For the first time new sedan Genesis G80 was shown at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Essentially, the model is an updated version of the Hyundai Genesis sedan. The car has received minor design changes, a new corporate logo, LED optics, 18- or 19-inch alloy rims and an expanded list of options.
In the US market the new sedan Genesis G80 is available with two power engines: 3.8-liter V6 engine with a 311 horsepower and a mighty 5.0-liter V8, which generating 420 horsepower. Both of those engines combined with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, Genesis G80 comes with leather trim, 2-zone climate control, infotainment system with 8-inch touch screen, GPS-navigation and compatibility Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As an option, the North American customers will be able to order a glass panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, trim made of wood or aluminum, multimedia system with a 9.2-inch display, advanced acoustics Lexicon (17 speakers).
Price will announce in the near future, before the start of official sales.
